Welcome to RisingMC
As a brand new, fresh out of the water server in its beginning stages of work, I can safely say this server is worth your time and effort in making a reality. We focus more on the player-versus-player and surviving aspect of Minecraft for our server, but we make it as unique and fun as we can in the process by providing thrilling, custom coded and custom build game modes unlike any others you have seen. We don’t only focus on the concrete content, but also on our players and community, and we have big hopes for our future.
What I am looking for in staff
I need staff and coders who can take a load of work off my back, and make this server actually open soon. I’ve been working solo on this server for a while now because school wasn’t over for many people, and now I need things to be built, gamemodes to be coded, and moderators when the server opens to help out. More on that, I need you to be loyal, and also friendly attitude towards others. Experience is obviously a must, and having proof helps.
Our gamemodes
For RisingMC, we offer unique gamemodes, unlike any other servers. We need help building and coding for different games, such as:
Race of Death: A big survival gamemode where many players start off in the first box, where you have to fight and survive while you adventure through different boxes with different biomes, gathering resources and gearing up. You have to do this all quickly because the first one to the end wins, and the best part is... you only got one life!
UHC Factions: Basically factions, but without any natural regeneration which makes it much harder. Will you still manage to become top faction? Gear up and head on out, hopefully, with some golden apples.
Crusades: A fast-paced, role-play centered Kit-PvP gamemode where you level up to unlock better classes and thrilling special effects from kills and kill streaks. Can you become the best PvPer?
Moderators
The types of moderators I’m looking for are those who can help build a community, interact with players and last but for sure not least, take care of hackers, griefers, spammers, and whatever else Minecraft players throw at you. As a mod we need you to have experience and be of a mature enough age to take care of those nasty players who just want to ruin stuff, and take care of them properly, regardless of situation or time.
Builders
The server is in big need of builders who can make nice structures and the creations for our server. We need you to be productive and build what you need to build so players can start joining our server as soon as possible. We are looking for a variety of builders with a variety of skills, but you need to have had past experience as a builder and provide proof for your skills.
Developers
I am looking for a solid developer for RisingMC, and you need to know Java well and have experience with making various craftbukkit plugins. Payments are optional but encouraged, and if you wish to discuss this I will contact you later on. You need to be able to make semi-complex game mode plugins and be loyal to your work once you start it. Past experience is a must and if you apply for dev, a longer and more thorough interview is needed.
Our Community
Community is one of the most important aspects of a server, because a server without a solid community might as well be a failed server. Our community is among our staff and players, where everyone is treated with respect and could interact with others. If you are going to treat players as if they are below you, you might as well not bother applying here. What makes you committed to a server? : Multiple factors play in. A main one, is if my contribution is recognised, and cared for, rather then not caring about what I do for something. Then, I stay with a server, always putting my part in. Also, is if the server has good, fair staff, not people looking for power, as this always keeps the server kind and safe for all players to enjoy, which is something you cannot afford to miss in a community you wish to prosper.
Have you ever been banned? : No, I have not been banned from a server before.
Why do you want to be part of the RisingMC community, and what can you contribute that sets you apart from the other applicants? : I'd like to be apart of RisingMC, as I love to help out small servers in anyway I can. I know it is a hard job to maintain. I like to servers grow, prosper and become successful, especially if a lot of work is put into that server. I am not like many people who apply for power, or want to grief or anything like that, I wish to create a place, a server, a community where people feel safe to play and have fun! I just want your server to have the best chance it can to be great. I want to contribute to this server of yours with all the building and Moderating skills I have. I just love to build, and I want to use this love somewhere!
Tell me about a time when you saw a staff member mistreating another player, and how you would fix the situation: If I see such a thing, I would first investigate the situation in which is happening, and figure out if the staff member is doing what they should be, or if they are abusing their power. If they are doing what they should be doing, I let them do it, unless they are too harsh, then I'd step in. If they are mistreating the player, I would immediately report it to higher staff, with proof if I can.

Tell me about a time when you saw a staff member mistreating another player, and how you would fix the situation:
If someone aggressively spams and annoys the heck out of everyone, but claims it was just his brother who took his keyboard, what do you do? : Even if it is just his/her brother I would just, still muted them for 5m first, (messages me or other people? Kicking them for it. Or else a temp ban for atleast 1hour) because they spam and annoy people and ruins their playing time on the server and will cause player loose. It can let people think that the staff are just pretty much unexperienced if they do nothing
Anything else? : You should add more staff ranks, more info ask on server or skype.
