River Wars Beta Testing *Need Builders, Testers, Staff
* A new minecraft server concept, need all the help we can get

[i]You awaken one day, unsure of where you are. All you have is a wooden sword and a leather tunic. Welcome to Merit, the island of hope. Or was it hope? A year after chaos immersed, survivors had no choice but to group up. Thus, Bandits and Heros were formed. You choose your side, Bandit or Hero, each have there benefits. Learn to use the rivers to your advantage, and you will succeed. Let's begin your journey.... into River Wars[/i]

River Wars in a completely new gamemode, involving aspects of roleplay and pvp. In a large 1k by 1k map, your goal is to survive, and thrive. With features like ore deposits, class system, and a totally new way for pvp, River Wars is something different

The map is a large 1k by 1k map, always open for expansion. Rivers are a important aspect to the game, as not only will they be the main source for travel, but they also have ore deposits on the banks of them, which are crucial for the game
[color=#00BFFF][size=150]Roads:[/size][/color][/b]
Besides rivers, roads play key as well. Roads lead to everywhere except the northeast section, which carries valuable loot. Rivers will be more commonly used, as boats are more common than horses. Yes, horses do spawn, but are rare.
[b][color=#00BFFF][size=150]Ore Deposits:[/size][/color][/b]
One of the important things in river wars, are the ore deposits. These are small caves located near towns or rivers, and spawn different ores, and respawn ores every set amount of time. These are very important for gameplay, as a pvp aspect will be involved. Players will fight over the ores, different clans will try to control them and such, including Heros vs Bandits. The main ores that will spawn are Iron, Coal, Gold, and Diamonds (which we will get into later)
[b][color=#00BFFF][size=150]Shops:[/size][/color][/b]
Shops is a important factor in River Wars, as it provides a economy for players. The currency is gold, and certain shops are only available to certain groups, Heros or Bandits. Bandits may have access to higher grade swords in there blacksmith, but lower grade armor than Heros do. At the end of the day, shops are only around for easy access of items, instead of gathering them yourself
[b][color=#FF0040][size=150]Bandits[/size][/color] vs [color=#40BF00][size=150]Heros[/size][/color]:[/b]
Bandits and Heros are the two groups in River Wars. Each have there benefits, and disadvantages. Bandits will be able to gain a extra half a heart per 5 kills, while heros deal slightly more damage. Heros will have access to certain shops, and Bandits will too. A better spawnkit for a Hero may be implemented, but is still up for debate. Its up to you what side to choose, and how you play. Keep in mind though, bandits and heros have certain rules they must follow in game, to keep the roleplay feature alive.
[b][color=#00BFFF][size=150]Diamonds![/size][/color]
Diamonds are a EXTREMELY rare item in River Wars. They are only obtainable on Diamond island, and only spawn 3 ores, every 200 seconds. This may not seem to bad, but keep in mind players will be fighting over the island, so diamonds will be risky to get.
[color=#00BFFF][size=150]Towns:[/size][/color][/b]
There are mulitple towns located in the map, each spawning loot and serving different purposes. These are great for new players to get basic food and weapons, to prepare to take on dungeons (WHAT?), and ore deposits.

Yes there will be mob, and parkour dungeons on the map, and are EXTREMELY hard, but spawn legendary gear. That is all to be said for now
