How long have you been playing mc?: In August I will have been playing Minecraft for 2 years.
Have you been a mod before?:Over the 2 years that I have been playing Minecraft I have played upon many servers and helped them where I can. I always do my best to help every and any server that deserves it.
I had 2 servers which I spent a lot of time as a staff member, I shall talk about each in turn and just explain my role and the server briefly.
The first server I spent a lot of time on was called AzaCraft, the server is running no longer. I went all the way up in this server in 2 months to moderator and later I was admin later and worked closely with the owner to create a really awesome friendly environment.
My days mainly consisted of using the CO tool to rollback player griefs. The server itself offered players an unlimited world in which they could adventure until finding the perfect place to settle down, the server ran bukkit and didn't really require much from players knowledge it was pretty much Vanilla Minecraft.
The second server that I played on for a long period of time was called ColossalCraft, this server is no longer. The highest rank I achieved on this server was moderator after 2 months of playing time.
My role on this server mainly consisted of the following, rolling back any griefs with the CO plugin, teaching players about Factions and Iconomy and holding events for the players such as custom parkour and drop parties. Staff had to work with one another to complete modreqs and the best way to do this was via our teamspeak and skype.
Anything else we should know?: I don't like to see other players struggle, I have always believed that a players knowledge should be never be kept to oneself, by sharing information it helps other players from making the same mistakes as you and life easier for individuals. Where I have played Minecraft for so long now I'm bored of playing the game itself, singleplayer no longer interests me at all so it's all about the online for me now. I get a kick out of seeing people happy because I have helped them, I like the feeling of looking back at an event and thinking to myself I helped create that, I helped make that happen.
I have experience on how to handle positions professionally and quickly to avoid conflict. I also understand that being too strict can hamper performance and stop things from being fun for people.
