Server advice?

The advice provided by Invaderlan is very good so further tips:
- Don't have too many rules
- Have a unique factor for your server
- Start off with a few staff, not too many
- Make joining the server very easy
- Have a tight community
- Prepare to do lots of work
- Be friendly!

I got some advice. Before you buy your server, set up your plugins folder beforehand and all the config. Also, have a team of administrators and moderators prepared. ,ale sure they are good builders and try to get to know them. When buying a server, ALWAYS look at the reviews. Look up bestminecrafthosts on google. Next, don't advertise at all before you and your staff makes completely sure that everything's set up, be it donations, shops, rules, and spawn. After you ensure those characteristics, it's safe to advertise. Advertise here, minecraft-server-list.com, and McForums. Make spawn easy to get out of, so people dot get lazy and quit. Make spawn's interface and prettyness awesome and efficient. Once you get a good player base of about 50 players, it's probably safe to start asking for donations. Have a sale the first week you put up donations. DO NOT PUSH DONATIONS. Threatening players and abusing them for donations is not the way to get them, and it'll make you, your staff, and your players look bad.
