Server Advice
Should I use my bukkit server on my laptop and post it for everyone to see, or should I first get a server hosting subscribtion?

well thats not true on having 5-10 players mine was home runned and it had 30 players top my internet provider wasn't as good but now im hosted and we have 100 players and No lagg so yea its your choice to make it home runned or hosted my host provider is hosthorde there pretty reliable with live chat and instant set up you can check my server out at chrisxaviercraft.no-ip.org:25595
You can run it on your own computer if you expect to only have 5-10 players max on it, anything beyond that and it will get laggy unless you have a fantastic internet connection with fast upload speeds.
In my opinion you're better off getting a VPS host because it will have zero lag, and then just add more RAM as needed when you get more and more players.

im using bukkit on my computer for right now my server xaviercraft.no-ip.org is being home runned by me as long as you have a good internet provider and a good computer
