Server Details/Plugins

Hey guys, in the coming days I will be creating a server but it's been a while since I've played excessively on different servers so I don't really know what's popular in terms of plugins right now. If anyone has some suggestions as to the plugins/things I should include on the server I would happily welcome them.

Ex. Which is more popular currently towny/factions? Or is there another type (prison, etc.) that is more popular or in demand atm?
