Ever since I've gotten my own PC, I've wanted to be able to host my own server. I've tried to get hosts before on my old PMC account, but they were unreliable and almost never worked out. I've owned/been an admin on many servers before and I know i can do it, I just don't have the money to pay for a hosting website. I've tried to find free hosting websites but I couldn't find one I thought was safe enough to not give me a virus. My internet connection isn't amazing, so I don't know if I can host a huge public server on it.
Should I host it from my computer, use a shady free hosting website, or try to find someone reliable? Please help!
