Server IP's?
So I am trying to set up this server IP but I don't want to share the world my server using a bunch of numbers. So I am wondering if any of you guys would know what to do as in:
What should I put in for the Server IP in server.properties?
What would I use to change the IP to a domain name?
How do I port forward?
And any other questions that would need to be answered.
Feel free to answer ina tutorial type of manner. :D

Or, instead of giving up as some people mentioned, there are tons of YouTube tutorials out. However, I'm guessing you're home hosting, the only way IP wise is numbers. Which is highly unsafe, I don't recommend it honestly. However, you could purchase a domain and forward it through your IP.
As in your 'server.properties,' do NOT put anything in that spot. It's not meant to be messed with.

Alright thank you, you are a big help. Do you know any domains that are under 5 dollars lol? I'm not gonna spend a lot for a domain.
