Skycraft is a land of magic and lore. It features the server-unique Legends and Settlements plugins that give it a unique personality. You won't find this plugin on another server. Skycraft features an experience system, levels, magic and more! At present we are still developing the plugins, but the server is at a playable state. We have no white list (That's right!) so you can simply join, tryout spells in the tutorial and take a look around. However, to use spells/build/mine you need to apply as shown in the format above.

When you gain enough experience in a skill, you will gain a level. After gaining this level, you may unlock an ability or new tool. As example below shows the "typical" basic skill. We are going to add more abilities throughout the levels, but haven't got that far yet.
Level 0: Wood tools
Level 1: Stone/Gold tools
Level 5: Iron tools
Level 10: Diamond tools and magical ability (Such as instant chop. Chops a tree down instantly).

There are three combat skills that you can also train in. You can use melee, archery or magic. Like skills these can be levelled up to give abilities. You gain a new ability in combat skills almost every level. To level up combat skills, you simply kill monsters (or players!) using the specific methods which are shown to you in the tutorial.

That is the levels plugin, which is featured in skycraft.

The settlements plugin is a very useful plugin which enables you to "claim land." Get together with six people and create a sign with "[Colony]" on the second line. You then need to create two signs with "[Member]" on the second line, and the persons name on the third. Once these signs are created, the people simply right click on their sign to activate it. Once the settlement has three members, it is automagically regioned using worldguard. You can only be in one settlement at a time. Settlements are free, and do not require any rent. You can also create [Colony], [Village] or [Town] for bigger regions with more people.

These plugins are not completely finished, but are at a great state. Feel free to come and check it out!

Due to popular request, I have added a guide on combat skills below. This guide, although basic, outlines the current skills that you will receive:
Magic:

0. Basic fire spell. Uses log as an ingredient
1. Improved fire spell. Still uses log as an ingredient.
2. Basic bolt. Uses arrow as an ingredient
3. Small explosion. Uses sulphur as an ingredient
4. Teleport spell. Uses book as an ingredient. Type /set to change your target coordinates
5. Lightning storm. Uses ender pearl as an ingredient
7. Freeze spell. Uses ink sack as an ingredient
... Spells continue to upgrade as you level
10. Wraith of the elder sage
15. Darkness of the moon

Archery:

0. Basic arrow. Deals 3 hearts of damage.
1. Fire arrow. Sets your enemy on fire, but is random. Higher chance as you level up.
3. Hunger arrow. Removes food from enemy, but is random. Higher chance as you level up.
5. Lightning arrow. Zaps your enemy from the heavens. Higher chance as you level up.
8. HP Leech arrow. Damages your enemies, and restores 2 heats of your health. Higher chance as you level up.
10. Bomb arrow. Creates a massive explosion. Higher chance as you level up.


Melee:

0. Wood Sword
1. Stone, Gold Swords
2. Fire swords. Sets your enemy on fire, but is random. Higher chance as you level up.
4. Hunger swords. Removes food from enemy, but is random. Higher chance as you level up.
5. Iron swords.
6. HP Leech sword. Damages your enemies, and restores 2 heats of your health. Higher chance as you level up.
8. Stun sword. Freezes your enemy for a second. Higher chance as you level up.
10. Critical hits, and Diamond sword. Deals massive damage to enemy. Higher chance as you level up.
