Yes Splat is 1.5 compatible, unfortunately it can't have Bukkit 1.5 since Bukkit doesn't even have that. If you can explain how your "elder council" somehow has something form Bukkit, that Bukkit doesn't even have because they haven't started making it yet, I'd love to hear it. That would be an even cooler story than having an elder council for a minecraft server that swears people to an oath of secrecy.
But, let's just stop discussing this, and leave the matter alone, as Splat does have 1.5.

I did try going on Splat, and you don't have 1.5 you have 1.4.7 with a 1.5 sticker on top. It's still the same 1.4.7 version everyone was/still is running except those who upgraded to 1.5 can connect to it. It has nothing from the 1.5 update.

Can you link me where you were able to get Bukkit 1.5 please, because even Bukkit themselves don't have that available.
Just a note, proof would be showing me content from the new 1.5 patch that was unavailable in 1.4.7 not asking players if you're running 1.5 and then saying yes. Yes I just told you, you are running the fake 1.5 so basically it's 1.4.7 with a 1.5 sticker slapped on it. Unless of course you somehow have the only available copy of 1.5 bukkit that even bukkit doesn't have.
