My Staff Application

I am looking to be a staff member on a server. Here is my application:

--Name: Brandon Bergman

--Age: 16

--Position: I believe that my application should determine where my position will be,
so I am not requesting any certain position in particular.

--Why Do You Want To Be a Staff Member? I would like any staff position to be honest.
But I would like to become staff because I actually really love this server, which is
very rare for me to say. I have always enjoyed support players not only in Minecraft,
but in many other games.

--Being a Staff Member You Must Advertise At Least 3 Times a Month. Are You Capable of Doing So?
I am capable of advertising at least 3 times a month. I'll probably advertise a lot more to
keep traffic up to date on the server, to keep active players.

--How Often Are You On During The Week In Days? I'm on almost everyday, I love expressing
my imagination and seeing what I can create, so that's why.

--Have You Ever Had Any Experience of Being a Staff Member? Actually I used to be a server owner for 3 years straight. I know how everything works, how to deal with players from
immature annoying ones, to the more mature ones. I know how to work pretty much everything,
so if you have a question or need help I am always here and will 99% of the time know the answer.

-Music Production:
I have been producing music since I was the age of 12 (4 years total). I was inspired by a
famous DJ that goes by the name of Tiesto. I wanted to create clubby music like he did, and slowly started
learning. It wasn't till my 3rd year of production I started to get serious with my music and create stuff.
I first started producing Techno music, then slowly started producing a bunch of other genre's. I can now
produce anything from Metal, Classical, Dubstep, Dance, Hands-Up, Electro, and many, many more. I am currently
learning and studying sound design to improve my music and increase the quality of it. I use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
called Fl Studio (Fruity Loops Studio).

-Graphic Design (GFX):
Since the 4th grade, I have always loved messing around with graphics in Photoshop to see what I could create. It wasn't until
the 6th grade that I actually paying attention to what I was doing. I took a class that was based on Photoshop and learned many
new things and great possibilities that Photoshop provides. I now do banners, wallpapers, and covers. I can somewhat do logo's and other
things, but not as well as the things I am based on.

-Server Owner:
Minecraft: As I said previously, I was a server owner for 3 years, loved being an owner actually. The reason I loved being a owner
is because I enjoy helping people and seeing what they can build and just meeting new people is awesome. That is the upside, the downside
was dealing with aggravated people who threatened you many times. I quickly learned how to deal with this people, by acting mature. I am insanely
good with security and such within Minecraft and making sure things stay safe, and the people are happy. Here are some things that could happen, and
here is how I would react.
1) Player: "I am going to DDOS you!"
Me: You may do what you like, but just remember we have your IP Address logged and we will report you to the authorities if you do try to
attempt any such act as it is against the law.
2) Player: *Griefs*
Me: I'm sorry {Player}, but I have jailed you for breaking the rule of griefing and destroying other peoples properties.
Player: *Cusses and starts being rude*
Me: You have broken another rule which is disrespecting another not only the players of the server, but the server itself.
You will be muted, if you keep acting the way you are, you will be banned, I will not give out any further warnings from this point on.
3) Player: I have been griefed and the person stole my stuff!
Me: I will check the logs as it is against the rules to do either one.
*What I would do is check the block logs, and if I do have access, check the chat logs to see who was on before and who got off. I would
check the times, specific words, as some people do like to talk in code, and I would make sure the player who got griefed and stolen from
will have there place fixed and stuff back.
Those are just some scenarios that could happen. Let me tell you about what I actually know. I know how most plugins work, and how to incorporate one
plugin to another. I can work with MySQL if needed also. If you need help hooking something like enjin up to the server for a voting system I could do that.
I just know a lot about Minecraft in general, from the game, too the server hosting. I have helped and managed many servers. One big thing I have done is I
go into servers that are lacking quite a bit, and I help them restart a new server and improve there server by a lot. Many success in this area as I have helped
servers go from an average of 5 players, to an average of 20-30 players. It's the key things that matter the most!



MMORPG Servers:
Now I didn't just host a Minecraft server, once that I found out I could advance to more things (such as MMORPG servers) I did so. The first private
server I created was a ROSE Online server. It took almost 2 hours to create as there was some errors and such. Once the server was up, I immediately started
getting players joining the community, it was awesome. ROSE Online is probably the best game server you could host, only because it is very easy to run and
in game, there is actually little to no lag, no matter how slow your connection is. I then went on to a more advanced game called Perfect World International. Creating
a working private server for this game took a little over a week. Many things went wrong while creating this server. In the end I translated the private server
from another language to English. Hosting this server was actually a lot more fun than ROSE Online, as it is a bigger game. I then attempted to host a GUNZ Online
private server, but did not succeed sadly. GUNZ Online is suppose to be one of the hardest private servers you can make/host.



Website/Forum Development:
I have been a web developer for almost 3-4 years now. I really like what you can do with web development. I personally like more of a flat/modern design
when it comes to web development. It just seems a lot cleaner, and more sleek. I am self taught, I have not taking any classes. How I taught myself was
I was just mess with the code, seeing what did what, and the outcome of each thing I did. I am currently making a website right at this moment based on web
development. It will be unique and have a bunch of tutorials to help other people in creating there own website.
Forum development is a lot more fun than web development. It is close to owning a Minecraft server. You are in charge of a little community and that community
can be anything you want it to be. Such as web development, anime, graphics, and tons more!

Me In General:
As you see in the server, I can act derpy. I only act derpy and stuff because it's just fun! But I can also act serious, when needed. Outside of Minecraft and
stuff I usually workout, and hang out with friends. I used to be in Football from 1st grade-9th grade, I left this past year because my coaches were insane. I was
a noseguard on varsity and if I would've stayed I was going to be either a linebacker, or a running back. My bench max is 250 and my squat max is 680 (I weigh 170).
