Shadow Survival is now Recruiting!
Over at Shadow Survival we are now looking for new moderators! You clicked on this post because you were interested in applying for the server.
As listed above are the ranks that is allowed to apply for, of course these are not all the staff positions. There is also Admin, HeadAdmin, and Co-Owner. However, these you must rankup from the lower tier to get to. I am doing this as Admin and Head-Admin are the most important roles of the server and cannot be simply earned by applying. You must earn it by me watching you help the server and prove that you have earned it.

Hey, why not?

2: I'd rather not answer specifically, although I can honestly say it is between 13 and 16.
3: I love being involved in the community of small, friendly servers, and I believe I have a lot to bring to the table. I've played for four years this year on many small servers with great communities, and it's been very sad to see a good number of them shut down. I want to do my part to grow a server of the type, as they seem to be getting rarer and rarer as the server section of many sites is dominated by faction, prison, and survival game servers. I believe I have a lot to offer where staffing is concerned, and I would love to do my part to help a small server grow. (That was only five sentences - six, counting this one - but I do believe I've made my point.)
4: I'm homeschooled; I usually get done with my work around noon, so I have lots of free time to devote to managing a server. I've been devoted to writing since I first learned to use Microsoft Word, and I'm an eloquent, legible speaker, particularly when typing. I'm notoriously difficult to provoke; as a result, I am, if I may say so, unusually good at dealing with trolls.
5: I certainly would be, so long as they're cooperative. I work well on coordinated teams that really understand each other. I enjoy working in conjunction with others more than j enjoy ordering them around.
6: I have. I owned a server until last year; it averaged about ten players online at any given time and received very positive feedback here on Planet Minecraft until I sadly had to shut it down due to lack of funds for hosting it. A couple of years ago, I was also staff on a very short-lived minigames server. My rank was accidentally removed when they did a world reset, and the server itself shut down just a few days later.
7: I am not.
8: I have neither. However, I check Planet Minecraft an inordinately large number of times each day; since all the staff members will be applying through the site, they should all have accounts as well, so we can communicate here in a pinch. I have steam as well; my ID is TheBigBacon.
9: Technically, yes. It's broken, though, so, for all intents and purposes, no. I don't like my voice being heard by people on the internet, anyway; I have a rather prominent accent that some people might find annoying.

I love the Minecraft community, even though it is harsh at times and I am harsh at it sometimes, but I still enjoy helping it. I like building creations for the good of the community and for my own enjoyment. I don't rage, if I were to leave, I would say my goodbyes and demote myself, not blow the server up first, and I see myself as a good member of your team.

I have been staff on a few of my friend's server and I had an admin position on CrysticPVP, a 30 slot public server hosted by CreeperHost in the UK. It was successful and had a lot of players per day, but I didn't like the way the owners were treating the problems (letting the staff members do all the work and then having them take all the credit) and I didn't like the fact that the chose the worst staff members possible, almost of all of them corrupt. I was also a Mod on Pistonshard.nu, a small 15 slot which usually had 9 users on Avg. and 1-2 staff on at one time. It was a fun community but was shut down do to lake of time and lack of good staff (most of them were leaving because they wanted to become staff on a bigger server and they couldn't picture the server growing)
