StruggleCraft is a difficult PvP server with raiding, much harder enemies, and in-depth classes. You need to be skilled to play on the server.

Features of Strugglecraft:

Diverse Classes - Choose from up to 10 unique classes with their own strengths, weaknesses, and iconic playstyles!

Dynamic Townships - Create towns to completely protect your buildings! However, blocks can still temporarily be destroyed, and chests can still be raided!

The Abyss - Enter a deadly world, filled with obstacles, monsters, other hostile players, and refilling treasure chests.

The Nether - Fight through a custom Nether with a much higher difficulty. The Nether Fortress you start in has many refilling treasures. You can only enter the Nether through the Abyss.

Skyhaven - Skyhaven is a sanctuary from PvP, high above the clouds. If you fall off, you simply teleport up. There are player shops, an Arena where you lose nothing in, and a protected expensive houses.

Lenient Death - No longer do you lose ALL of your items when you die! When you die in Azlaria, you can keep your equipment, but lose other items you're carrying. This is to encourage bringing your favorite equipment everywhere, and to encourage PvP.

Free Classes

These are the classes available when you start playing on the server!

The Champion is a powerful melee hero with high health. It has no ranged attacks, but it has ways of catching up to its enemies.

The Sniper is a deadly ranged hero that uses a bow and has low health. It dies easily, but if it can keep out of the grasp of its enemies, it can deal heavy damage from afar.

The Arcanist is a brilliant magic hero that specializes in dealing large bursts of area damage. It can also use fireballs to take down its enemies from far away. It has very low health.

The Paladin is a durable support hero that mixes high defense, healing, and protective magic. It is okay on its own, but it truly shines when it helps protect a more powerful but frail hero.

The Nightlord is a stealthy assassin who can easily sneak up on its enemies and stab them from behind for large amounts of damage. They don't do well when caught, but they can often kill enemies before they can react.

Premium Classes

These classes are only available to those who donate, but they aren't statistically stronger than the free classes.

The Sentinel is a sturdy warrior who has especially high health and is extra skilled with shields. They can charge into the fray and be a threat not because of purely high damage, but both high damage and not insignificant damage.

The Hunter is a versatile melee and ranged hybrid hero who can whittle down the health of its enemies and defeat them when they get close enough for melee.

The Harbinger is a tough mage who can fight in melee while still utilizing magic to defeat its enemies. It has deliberating spells and can hit pretty harshly with its staff.

The Bishop is a holy cleric that is a lot less durable than Paladins. However, they have long ranged healing and damaging spells that can be used to support their allies from afar. They don't have a damage prevention skill, though.

The Duelist is a masterful rogue who boasts the highest consistent physical damage. They can rush into combat with high mobility and deal heavy damage quickly. However, they lack ranged attacks, invisibility, and have relatively low health.

Professions

Professions are optional side jobs your character can have and get better at, allowing you to specialize in a non-combat skill.

Alchemists can create potions and poisons, while nobody else can. They are also slightly better at farming.

Blacksmiths can create diamond equipment, while nobody else can, and repair equipment without removing the enchantments.

Enchanters can enchant armor and tools, which nobody else can do.

Farmers are masters at growing crops, getting high chances of getting double drops while farming. They can also use Diamond Hoes.

Fishers are adept at fishing, eventually catching two fish per successful cast each time.

Lumberjacks are skilled at woodcutting, allowing them to salvage more wood while chopping down trees. They can also use Diamond Axes.

Miners are experienced miners who are good at acquiring more stone and ores while mining. They can also use Diamond Pickaxes.

Lore:
Azlaria was once a beautiful, peaceful world. There was no undead crusade, no constant wars, and most of all, there as no evil. Or so everyone though, anyway. Azlaria was ruled by the Goddess, a benevolent and seemingly divine being whose origins were unknown. She helped the humans build great cities and civilizations. It was utopia.

But all utopias are doomed to fall, eventually.

They say that evil was created by the humans, not the Goddess. Their free will allowed the development of sin, a concept unknown to most humans at the time. One particular human, Lord Zemn, was a very sinful man. He managed to extract magical energy from redstone, granting him powerful magical powers. When he became strong enough, he did the inevitable.

Lord Zemn murdered the Goddess.

Using his new-found dark magic, he managed to take the Goddess by surprise and nearly destroy her. With her dying breath, she used the large amount of magic she herself had to do two things. She sent the castle of Eos and its nearby village to the sky, away from Lord Zemn. This later became known as Skyhaven. She also used her power to turn Lord Zemn into a demon and seal him away in a dark realm known as the Abyss.

Today, Lord Zemn is still locked away. He has created his own demons to conquer the world for him. These three demons, the Demon of Death, the Demon of Wrath, and the Demon of Forbidden Knowledge have made their own empires and fight between each other to gain Zemn's favor and attempt to free him. Many humans descend from Skyhaven to fight the demons, yet some are instead tempted into joining their nations. Azlaria is a world eternally at war, but perhaps you can make a difference. Perhaps you can destroy the demons, or join them and crush those who dare to defy Lord Zemn. Maybe you just want to create your own nation and survive in the land that belongs to you. How will you change Azlaria?

Patch 1.0.4

If you join this server, don't expect it to be extremely easy! The mobs are harder and you can't build too much until you buy or get into a town.
