Yo im planning to setup a server with a couple friends, i've made a server before and it worked out well but i passed the ownership onto others. But we're lost on ideas on what to make and what it would involve... Suggestions?

It may be funny but she's right. Factions is a very overpopulated gamemode and the world just doesn't need anymore. Minigames is another overused one, unless you have server-specific unique styles of minigames. Though, it's a team effort so you should find your strong-suit and discuss it with your team. Servers are a lot of work, and you want to be prepared. Like, don't go for a Roleplay server if you have no roleplay experience.
