The Ranger's Apprentice
Hello everyone,
My name is Felix and I live in Belgium.
I want to make a big open world with as theme the story of : "The Ranger's Apprentice"
When I was a child I started reading the series : "The Ranger's Apprentice" from John Flanagan.
There are 11 books in the series and I've read all of them and fell in love with the style of the books.
The first book starts at castle Redmond. (See picture below)
I am not going to tell the story of the books, I will just upload pictures and give some explanation,
since I do not want to spoil you guys.
So if you didn't quite notice yet, the server would be Medieval themed with a lot of castles and big roads and city's.
In the spoiler underneath this text you can see Castle Macindaw, where in books 5-6 Will and his friends stayed.
There are a lot of continents in the world of "The Ranger's Apprentice" but I would like to start with the first big continent : Araluen.
Here you can see the big continent of Araluen with each big castle : Macindaw, Castle Norgate, Castle Araluen, Castle Gorlan (which is just a ruin), Castle Redmont where Will and his friends grew up. And ofcourse Seacliff Castle where Will get's send to as a Ranger.
Now that you have some pictures of the map and castle's, I would like to make a big group of fans, who have read the books, listened to them or whatever. You need to be motivated and have quite some skills to work hard and accept other people's opinion on your builds.
Next you will need to be able to join a teamspeak server but a mic is not necessary. You just need to be able to listen to others.
Basically what I need :
- Builders (A F*CKING LOT BECAUSE IT WILL BE A HUGE PROEJCT)
- Programmers (People who can look for useful plugins and can fix permissions)
- WorldDesigners (People who can start with making the first big continent so the builders can start to work, and get some landmarks going so we know where to go)
- Commanders (these are the 'main' builders, they have read the books and know what they're talking about)

Hey _VOX, I'd like to work on this project with you, I've read both The Brotherband Chronicles and The Ranger's Apprentice series and recreating that world sounds really cool. My skype is akindrum33 if you decide to contact me.
I loved these books and cant wait to see how this might turn out. Will this be on a server or on a world that we download? Looking forward to this, and I hope I can help.
