The Initiative [Looking for Devs + More]
Hello, fellow Minecraftians.
I've recently started to dev a faction server. I know, the cliche remarks about faction servers are that they are all the same, they are not usually stable and that they are (usually) run by incapable owners. I aim to change that.
How?
The Initiative
Still working on the name.
Atlantis Initiative is a faction based, RPG server. It will have an extensive storyline, ranging from how the land has developed into only islands, and how you take part in the rebuilding of society.
Atlantis Initiative is based around an apocalyptic event, and the aftermaths of it. In this case, a flooding of the world's water levels. There will be a much in-depth description of this later on. The server will hand out automatically books to all new players describing the world they are going to have to adapt to, and why it is the way it is.
Here is a picture of a small sample of map that is developed for the players to build in.
Anyways, onto the part where I need help.
Here is a generalized list of what I need help with, which will obviously grow as the server encounters more responsibilities and challenges.
Builders- People who build server-related buildings. Please only offer if you have extensive experience with building large project builds.
Player Relations- People who are able to answer player questions and be able to assist them if they need help. (Ex; If someone asks a question, not if they need help building their base) Similar to a moderator.
Moderator- This is a term I hate to toss around. It is so overused and many server owners devalue the use of it. It is a status that comes with hard work, you will not achieve this by application.
Journalist/Writer- This person will help write out the explanation book that is auto-given to all new players. They will also help by populating the server's forum with informational guides and general articles. You should have extensive abilities to write thorough, and grammatically correct articles/other writing pieces. I understand everyone isn't perfect though.
Webmaster- This is obviously not required, however it would help. If someone knows extensive use of PHP, HTML, etc. they could be quite useful. Having a personalized website that is NOT pre-made with online website creators looks very professional, and professionality is what I am aiming for.

Notes:
Equality- I cannot stand when a server owner treats a certain group of players better than another group. (Ex: Treats their builders not as they treat their Moderators.) I understand moderators have more responsibilities, however all members of the team are equally as vital and all should be appretiated accordingly.
Ageism- I do not discriminate against age. I do however look for a level of maturity in the members of the team. Age does not equal maturity.

I'm still in need of developers.
There are plenty of new updates and the physical building has begun.
Really need a person who can spell correctly, and use correct grammar to write in-game books as they will have a heavy-use for this server. Sick of servers being described on a wall of signs.

I am an ok developer or "dev" but certainly not the best. My building skills are pretty good, I used to be on a whitelisted server that only accepted advanced builders, I was one of them.
