A Minecraft Story

One day, several houses were griefed to the
ground and giant stone swastikas were left in their
place. The citizens were shocked and didn't know
what to do. This went on for a few weeks. It
became routine for them to scour the towns
each day to check for griefed houses.
They'd always find signs instead.
Our server was open to the public then.
We had a LOT of new players each day,
but our server couldn't handle more than
5 or so at one time, or everybody would
be logged out. I'm interested to see how
popular it will be now that it's fixed.
A brave knight of Fluffy Kingdom noticed that each
night a mysterious man would emerge from the desert
and each morning he'd be seen disappearing into the sunrise.
The knight, Helgast, tracked the man for a few days before
alerting Lord Hylian of this discovery. Back then there were
very few heroes in the server apart from the mayors, and
they were always busy managing their settlements.

So it was that Lord Hylian and Helgast followed
the footprints into the desert. They spotted a
man ahead and began running to him. He had
built himself a home here. Helgast kicked the
door in and the two of them entered quickly.
In a tense rush of adrenaline, Lord Hylian
advanced upon the man -who appeared to
be writing words on a sign- and slashed
the man with his iron sword, killing him.
Helgast approached Hylian from behind
and directed his attention toward the sign.

"yh im the griefer" Hylian read aloud. It seemed the
man spent his last moments alive confessing to his
deeds. Hylian and Helgast filled every room to the
ceiling with TNT explosives. Hylian then walked
out of the front door and waited for Helgast
outside. When Helgast shouted that he had
found something, Hylian nearly disregarded
it, but curiosity got the better of him and
he followed Helgast anyway.
Helgast had found a secret trapdoor
under one of the griefer's appliances.
It revealed a ladder that went deep
underground into a large open room.
Hylian was astounded with what he
saw. He was lost for words.

To this day, a hole remains where the base
once stood. Sometimes you can still smell
the TNT if you try.
