Attention all Minecraft players! I recently just opened up a new Minecraft server and I have a unique direction that I wish to take it. You can read it down below.
Our server will run a modified version of the Towny plugin. There will be a few different nations that all can have different forms of rule based on what the creators of said nations agree on. This could potentially be a democracy, an oligarchy, or other things like communism if chosen. This will be a strict roleplay server, where it is mandatory to stay in character. It will also be whitelisted during alpha and beta stages of creation & play in order to avoid having trolls pull shenanigans that might ruin it for others. The nations will have different time periods that the server will automatically call. This will include periods such as an ancient period for building and meeting the players you are building a nation with, a medieval period for building tools and creating strategies, a renaissance period for finishing the town's defenses and possibly meeting other towns, and so on and so forth. Towns in the beginning will be easy to destroy, as they will be weak. However, so will the characters. They can go through and try to find the best equipment first, but fail on building walls and be taken out. Or, players can build defensively but fail to have updated equipment so once the enemy breaches their fort, they’re all doomed. It's like a minigame, but much longer spanning a couple of days or maybe even weeks, depending on how it’s set up. Nations will even be form alliances, if they notice that one nation is being very aggressive or if they want to take one over.
Now. I need a decently-sized team to help me get this idea up off of the ground. I’m going to need developers and managing staff to help me create this. Builders, not so much as the majority of the building is going to be done by the community itself, however I may need one or two for a hub or donation area, or something of that sort. A message to potential developers and maybe even builders, if you request it, you will be paid a reasonable sum based off of donation that are put in each month.
The server is running with unlimited player slots and 12 gigabytes of RAM space.
