So I own a server, but I recently found a minecraft server host that is cheaper, but my server is not yet ready to have a reset, it is possible to transfer the server I have now, to a different host and not lose anything?

Yep. Copy your files over via FTP. If your plugins use any MySQL databases they will be reset probably though.

Yes, copy the main files (or all of then) and provided they are all together the there should be no problems
