Introduction
Hello Minecraft Community! The purpose of this introduction is to spread the word about a revolutionary new Minigame Network that is in the works. I’ll be posting daily updates here, and you can find out some preliminary information about the upcoming Wither Network below.
What is the Wither Network?
Alright, let's start from the beginning. The server will consist of minigames, and nothing but minigames. More than 95% of our general plugins are custom coded, and 100% of all of our minigame plugins are custom coded and have never before been seen or built on any server. When we first launch the server in July of 2014, only two of our minigames will be initially playable ("The Witch" and "Star Wars"), but other gamemodes will gradually and consistently open as the playerbase of the server increases and we get a feel for what minigames the playerbase is interested in. We fully intend to tailor the server to the interests of the minigame-seeking Minecraft community, and we are open to any and all suggestions you may have! The purpose of games on the Wither Network is to be purely enjoyable and social—to end the monotonous grind that several Minigame servers have turned into recently.
What makes the Wither Network different from other minigame servers?
Besides the fact that all of our minigames are custom coded and never-before-seen, the Wither Network is unique in several different aspects.
1. Fair Prices and Fair Minigame Access
While the Wither Network does use “tokens” to allow players access to the best minigames, donation packages that will be available are substantially less expensive than those found on other minigame hub servers, and tokens are much easier to attain. Our philosophy is that player satisfaction should take precedence over all else. Minigames are meant to be enjoyable and accessible, and on the Wither Network, they are.
2. Professional, Active Staff Members
Staff members on the Wither Network have had years of experience staffing a total of 50 Minecraft servers of all game variants. We have selected the best of the best to assist players in getting acclimated to the server—staff members from time zones around the world that are on every single day of the year. You will probably recognize some of them, because their names are pretty well-known, and rightly so. Our staff selections are fair, professional, and amicable. Unlike other minigame servers, they also interact with the community and play the games on a regular basis.
3. Rewards For Work
Here at the Wither Network, we believe in rewarding the veteran members of our community. The longer you play on the Network, the more rewards you will earn in the long run, be it customizable particle effects and prefixes or simply more tokens to play more minigames. Playing consistently and playing from day one will earn you respect and advantages among your peers. Get started playing on Wither Launch day!
4. The Best of the Best
Our Hub will be simply amazing to look at. You may not even want to play the minigames; you may just want to stare into the beauty that is being emitted from your computer screen upon your first join. We’ve hired the best Minecraft building team in the world to carry out server builds (which will change seasonally and border on real-life graphics quality). So what Minigames are currently in the works?
"The Witch" --- Horror and humility are abundant. The game consists of 8 players --- 7 survivors and 1 player being the actual Witch. I really don't want to spoil anything for you, but I will post some sneak-peaks in due time. You’re sure to get goosebumps every play.
"Star Wars" --- If you've ever played Star Wars Battlefront and enjoyed it, you're going to love this minigame. The games will consist of 16 - 32 players, depending on which map is selected. All of our minigame maps will be custom built by TheCreeperCrew (Here is a link to the imgur of their structures - http://blockbyblock.imgur.com/all) Once again, I don’t want to spoil the surprises the Wither Network has to offer, but I can tell you that this minigame will be nothing like you’ve ever seen before, including a multitude of class variants and first-person-shooter gameplay…in Minecraft!
At the moment, our website is in the process of being coded (in 100% customized HTML), but I will let you all know as soon as it goes public. We do not use Enjin, Xenforo or any other type of bulky, unsightly, commonplace forum software. The website will feature in-game rewards and community forums the likes of which have not been seen on any other Minigame server. Pictures of site development will be posted soon, though it is currently still in the beta phase.
Who are these awesome staff members you’re talking about?
PimpedBlock --- Owner
I'm the person who started this project, you'll get to know me by talking to me on the server I have ample server-owning experience and am very excited to share this project with you all.
Noah --- Owner
Noah is a person I have known for quite a while now. He's one of the friendliest, yet most professional people to work with. Noah has always supported me in this project (even when he wasn't the Co-Owner), and I'll always enjoy working with him.
SshiverJenkins (Shiv) --- Administrator
An extremely professional yet very friendly person to work with, Shiv will always get the job done in an expedient manner and is always willing to answer questions, help out, and take the initiative to catch hackers in the act. He may seem strict, but he’s a nice guy that cracks some good jokes when you get to know him.
Elli --- Moderator
Elli is a person I’ve known for around 4 months now. I've met her on a server and we always used to play together. She makes jokes very often and will respect you if you respect her back. However, she isn't scared to ban, so beware of that!
We are still recruiting many staff members for the publishing of the network, so feel free to contact me to apply for a position.
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 17
• You must have a verified Paypal account
• You have to be able to use Skype and TeamSpeak
• You have to have a YouTube and Twitch account

Nah, just kidding. I'm amazed that out of all the other players on the old WitherNetwork Pimped chose me. I cannot wait for the new server to open and to have the old trusty ban hammer flung over my shoulder. Hey, hey. Be warned, just cause I'm a girl doesn't mean I don't know how to swing an axe.. or a hammer.

Really nice server I hope I would be able to be staff on this server if not I will still join on opening. =D
I'm proud to have the opportunity to be an Administrator on such a promising Network. The Wither Network will be far and away one of the most interesting, unique, and genuinely fun-to-play minigame servers in existence. Forget the obsolete giants like HyPixel or Mineplex--their minigames are classic, but outdated.
The Wither Network has something to offer which many recent servers seem to have lacked--something that makes Minecraft worth playing--and that is innovation.
I can't wait for July to roll around, because Wither Launch will be amazing. Mark your calendars and spread the word!
