Description:
Our server is a new seed, but not a new team. I have been managing a few smaller, semi-private servers honing my admin skills and learning the ropes. This server was created to become an open community server, which is why I am posting it up to Reddit.
PVP is available on a separate world than the main world, as we feel that folks should be able to build in the main world. Other worlds will be enabled as we see fit, and added through Multiverse, with Multiverse Portals for travelling between worlds. Our server is run by adults, not children, and we look to build a solid adult and mature young adult Minecraft server community.
GriefPrevention provides a unique claiming system for protecting your creations. We aren't using Towny quite yet, but might in the future. For now, GriefPrevention provides a great way for our users to easily protect their work from griefing.
Aside from the server mods taking this out of the Vanilla category, I have tried something different by using the Spigot Craftbukkit fork, it was formerly known as Craftbukkit++. It has some interesting performance enhancements that should help keep the server's resources lower as the community grows, keeping lag to a minimum for the server cost. It's apparently used by some of the biggest servers out there, so I'm thinking big from the start.
Rules: Generally no unfair advantages (hacked clients, mods, cheats), racism, other bigotry, or spamming. Read full list of rules here, http://yourcraftserver.com/rules.
Server Hardware: SSD Hard Drives, Beastnode Hosting Hardware
Plugins: Anticheat, Essentials, Multiverse, mcMMO, GriefPrevention, NoCheatPlus, LWC, Dynmap, Buycraft, Orebfuscator, Skybank, Trade, Votifier. Testing a few others with staff and will be adding them later to this list after fully enabled.
