OK, I really need help with this. So, I've been trying to allocate more RAM to Minecraft for one... but everything in my bin folder for Minecraft are just... pictures of a page. Not a page with a 7-zip icon like it should be (picture below). I've deleted my whole bin folder and have force updated a lot of times. I'm not sure why this is. Windows 7 is saying I "don't have the appropriate permissions to access the file". Uh... I'm pretty sure I do. I'm administrator and everything, so I'm really confused. OK, but I was saying I'm trying to allocate more RAM to Minecraft. Well, when I open the file to run Minecraft, an error comes up saying that the .jar file is invalid or corrupt. I need help!

left click and say open with winrar or 7-zip
When I LEFT-click on it, I get the message that I put in that picture. When I RIGHT-click, there is no "Open with..."
However, this isn't really my problem. I can still open it with 7-zip, but I want to be able to get more RAM to Minecraft.

as I believe you need to go open minecraft, and at the login screen, click force update, and wait, (note this willou erase mods and things that were on it) if that doesn't work go to minecraft.net and download it again that might solve it.
As I said, that didn't work. I said I force updated a lot of times. X)
Thanks for trying to help me, though.
