I don't think this is much of a problem, but PMC allows you to upload "texture-packs" but not "resource-packs"
The basic difference between those two is that texture packs change only the texture files but resource packs can change sound files, blockstates, models, optifine features.... etc.
They do allow you to upload resourcepacks but I think changing the name from texturepacks to resourcepacks would be better

They are literally the same thing, just different names for them!

That is not true. As I have said, they are the SAME THING, just DIFFERENT NAMES FOR THEM
