I cannot connect to it i've seen an old post have they yet to find a work around to stop ddos mitigation from kicking off chat?

is chat down for update right now can't get in at all yet again 2nd day now nothing pops up this time and chat says 0 sit there for few mins and then kicked for inactivity pops up
...so why does it appear as if there's 18 people online though?
Those are the people that were in the Chat before it went down I believe. They stay in there until the leave the page.
phew and here i thought i was banned haha scared me half to death
I asked Palaeos in discord and he said yeah, he doesn't know for how long or why it's down
