Command Block
Hi! I am a redstoner and map maker, and I just need a little help with this one thing.
So, okay, on a professional map such as Reverie: The Uprising, you enter a certain area and a command block says automatically in chat for example
"[@] fangleonekid9900> This place was abandoned for a reason."
And then when you leave and come back into that area, it does not say that message again, as it would do with /testfor.
How would I do this?

Easy, You can have a piston push and pull the command block that is displaying the message and make it so that once the piston is pushed it will not bring back the command block over the redstone torch underneath (use a regular piston). Hook it all up to the /testfor command and should work perfectly
If you still can't understand what I described, I will happily build it for you (only that specific redstone part). You can either set up a server or send me the world download in a private message.

Maybe have some item given to them and they must throw it somewhere to open a new door. the /testfor is only if they have that specific item.
Just an idea, I am no technical-esque person.

so you have the testfor command right mack another signal of redstone to another commandblock that makes it so that it replaces the command block that testfor's turn in to air. Pretty Simple!
