I'm looking into buying an Alienware, and the one I've really looked into is the x51. I don't really need the portability of a laptop, because I won't be bringing it places, I have this crap-top for that....
But anyways, if you've ever been on their website there's 4 tiers of the model you can get, and for the x51 there is one for $700, $800, $1050, and $1500. Each one, as you would expect, get progressively better.
I'm going half and half with my dad to buy one, and I need opinions on which one to get. I want to be able to record high-quality videos on Youtube, so I want the computer that can do that and still not cost too much.
I also need some advice on how to raise the money to get it in a fairly short time. Thank you all in advance for your advice!

Please don't get an alienware. You could build a better computer for half the price. A ten year old can build a computer. Watch this video on how. Even if you don't want to build it you can probably bring the parts to a computer shop and have them build if for you for a small fee. What games will you be playing? What is your budget?

Alienware is good. Very good... They are way to overpriced though.
You can make your self your own computer 2-5x cheaper and it can be at least similar or better depending on what computer you're buying from Alienware.

I realize it's a ton cheaper, but I know almost nothing about computers. And when I say that, it means everything about them. (Kinda weird because I spend half my life on them...) So the last thing I'd want to do is build one..
