I have previosly tried to create servers but have had no luck. The only thing i can not find out how to do is access my router and change the settings. Does anyone know how? Oh and I don't have linksys but thats all i know.

you go to command prompt type in ipconfig it will tell you you want the default gate way. then open up a webbrowser type that in the long search bar where the web addreass are shown. it will prompt you to type in a usename and pass if you havent changed that then it will be Admin Admin or something like that. you should go to fowarding or what ever its called and port on the computer that oyu want to use you should do the same thing but use the ipv4 addres ass this is the local address port on 25565 and there yuor done

Basically get craftbukkit or bukkit dev and run it, It should link up with your IP, go to your console and do ipconfig, Its the second one down I beileve, You will be able to access your plugins through the "plugins" folder. You should have a console too.
