I've recently posted my third mod on planet minecraft: More Player Models.
24 hours ago it got removed, because apparently Im not me.
This is the third time now. Ive had the same thing with my previous mods I posted here as well. Honestly its quite annoying.
My first mod got removed without any prior contact with me. I was ok with that since well my name here and my name on minecraftforums is different because Noppes was already taken here. It can happen
With my second mod one of your modders contacted me on the minecraftforums to confirm its me. Which is weird cus it should have been obvious if he had looked at my other mod.
Now with my third mod. It got removed again without any prior notice. Even the people in the comments of the third mod had noticed seppon is actually noppes. How could a moderator not have noticed this, or at least have looked at the other stuff Ive posted on PlanetMinecraft.
So yea Im not happy, even in my about me I mention that Im Noppes. How could my post still just be removed without any contact?.
If a moderator could look at the issue and restore the post it would be much appreciated.
Thanks for reading,
~Noppes/Seppon

I'm going to lock this post now. This is for you to discuss with the moderator who removed your mod via PM not through the public forums.
Report it to the mods, don't make a forum post on it.
Wow, I know how you feel. Mods are perhaps the most difficult submission to make and require the most time to be put into them, and I can't even imagine having all that hard work simply removed by a moderator. I hope you can sort it out with the moderator who removed it and get your submissions put back!
EDIT: YOU'RE THE AUTHOR OF ANIMAL BIKES? O_O So was the mod that deleted your submission thinking that the author of Animal Bikes would copy another mod? Dude... kudos to you!

That's the one thing I can't stand about this site: if somebody thinks you're breaking the rules somehow, you can't appeal until after your submission's been completely deleted, which by then, there's not really a point
I once had some kid accuse me of starting one of my contest entries before the contest start date. He based his accusation on the fact that I had submitted an unfinished version of it early on in the contest, and it was pretty big (it didn't matter that the entire thing was just a pattern of blocks repeated over and over that could easily take 10 minutes to do in MCedit. No it was big which must have meant it had to have taken at least a month to do). Next thing I knew, an admin deleted it without any prior warning and the reason they gave made no sense at all.
I reposted it shortly afterward and contacted another mod who said the entry checked out with the rules. I never had a problem with it after that.
This site treats its moderators and admins like they're perfect, all-knowing people and completely ignore the fact that they can easily make mistakes like the ones they seem to be having with your mod here.

I've had similar problems with my own mods. Moderators really don't do background checks before removing content, and I've had one of my mods removed 3 times (it was put back twice but the third time it was refused and I'm still not aloud to repost it.) Which is really annoying. I understand your frustration.
