That command works perfectly fine on my end. What happens when you try to run it?
When i do it the page is missing.
I was wrong actually, I didn't notice the text was missing. Here's a working command:
/give @p minecraft:written_book 1 0 {author:NAME,title:TITLE,pages:['Page 1 Text','Page 2 Text']}sorry but i wanted it to be a writable book
if that does not work make a dispencer outside with the book nine times, then using 1.8 snapshots, do the /clone command to clone the dispencer and pick where you want to place it, so when you run out /clone to the rescue!
Nice idea but its not what seak after now
