Done Loading?
So when I was trying to download the portal gun mod. I installed modloader and audio mod. Checked on my minecraft and it worked so far, so good. Then I tried to install modloader mp and minecraft forge. That is where the error happened. When I tried to see if it could still work, I logged in. It went to the Mojang logo and then it went to the updating page. It is stuck on Done Loading. any Help?

So it didn't work so I take it I should reinstall it. How do I remove the files?

You can try to delete it first and if it does not work just reinstall it all.
So should I restart or should I just delete it?
META-Inf must always be deleted first.
And things such a Modloader and Minecraft forge also need to come first (after deletion of Meta-inf that is.)

And by the way I did NOT delete the Meta-INF yet.
