Error 1935 please help!!

hello,
i am trying to install a software and it needs microsoft visual c++ redistributable and if starts to install and then comes up with the error 1935 "Microsoft.VC80.ATL.type="win32".version="8.0.50727.42".publickeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e8e3b".processorArchitecture="x86"

please help...
i have a compaq presario CQ56 if that helps anyone thankyou!!
