I don't know where the post of the talk of Microsoft buying Mojang is, so I will ask here.
Will the EULA be removed because Mojang no longer owns Minecraft?
I hope so..

The EULA won't be removed obviously, it's what (legally) protects their software.
Didn't say I was locking it.
Sorry. Just though since it was a extremely dupe thread.
Nobody knows. You shouldn't ask community members of something that only pertains to the official companies. The deal hasn't even closed yet, so we don't know what the situation will be.
The old EULA did not allow monetization in any regard, and most of Microsoft's EULAs are the same. We'd better hope that the new EULA stays in effect.

Forgot to lock?
Have you even read the EULA?
The EULA is the same as any other business, you cant make money through what they have made. As in you cant sell what they have made, which is why pay 2 win isnt allowed because theyre paying for what mojang made.
If anything it will be further enforced. Which is a good thing.

An "EULA" (End User License Agreement) is never removed... All games, softwares, computer OS, etc have an EULA. It is necessary to prevent abuse.
And Mojang still owns Minecraft. But Microsoft owns Mojang...
The question is if they will keep the EULA as it currently is. Or if they will fully enforce it. If they change the EULA to match the EULA of the other Microsoft owned games. You can say farewell to all the large servers out there. (And maybe also the Youtube community)

If every player were as smart as you...
