Seriously though, we're all human, we all put our trousers on one leg at a time, (unless you have no legs... then its awkwards). By the way this is written I guess talking to the opposite sex is still a fairly new thing but remember, they're probably feeling the same!

It passes, the more you socialise in person, and not through tech, the more confident you become, and the easier it gets... and then you get like the likes of me...who has no fear in public situtions

Hey it's ok to be shy around girls! I'm a girl and very often I see guys shy to Come up and talk to us girls and when they do they turn red!you know we girls think its cute well I do :d don't worry the most important thing is be yourself and start a convo!

Really, just be yourself. There's nothing better than pure honesty -- it'll help you meet friends who are more like you, rather than faking your personality to be around people you regret in the future.

Other than that, all I can really say is we're all human. Remember that. Everyone is similar in one way or another. Both genders can have the same humor, same interests, same favorite foods, games, and so on. The only difference between genders being... well, you know.

I have this problem with basically everything, no matter what it is xD
Basically, a lie detector would never work on me since it would look like I'm constantly lying even though I'm telling the truth xD

Become attracted to the other gender (Your own gender), helps in a way of you not being attracted to girls anymore... However you will probably (like me) be attracted by boys instead :/

So basicly my best tip: not to be attarcted when around girls (or boys in my opinion) is to try as hard as you can, to smile, and LOOK FORWARD. Don't look at them, just smile at concentrate at something in front of you.

And in case you talk to a girl. Try to keep eye contact and notice what eye color she have. This helps you to both remember the person, and if she ever ask's you're well prepared!

Try to make yourself get into a comfortable mood. If you have that positive and confident feeling you won't even know your talking to girls. And if it fails on you right in the action, have a backup plan to lean on, like a schoolbook, or even better you phone. That way you can like relax a little from them, even tho you ar eright next to them in a conversation. But remember never to be arrogant towards them or ignor them, nobody likes that.
(Feels like this turned into an advice of how to get girls instead of how to just talk to them. If you want I can teach you how to stay in a relationship with them for about two years, like I have lol)

Same problem here im almost 20 and still having those issues XD Can be so open and so humorous wehn am around boys/friends but wehn thers girls around my brain goes in "trying to be normal" mode, and it's really annoying cuz am not acting natural in anyway.
But its maybe the brains way to protect us from large shopping bills and stupid in-law famaly.
