Glitch?
I'm not sure what is going on, but it seems that there's something slightly wrong... I am currently about 45000 blocks away from spawn, and ever since about the 7500th block, it's all been an ocean biome. Not sure if this is the end of the map or not. Please help me!!!

if its on a server get worldedit and replace it with grass!
you may have a great ocean seed.
It's an ocean...What do you expect? An ocean isn't 120x120

7500 blocks from spawn is a very long way for anyone to travel. Unless you are allowing everyone to fly and this won't stress out your server too much you don't really need to worry too much about people getting that far. However this is a glitch that causes the oceany biomes to spread on way too far. You could try making the map on the same seed again or restarting the map. Using an advanced build of bukkit with world edit or similar could allow you to transfer buildings over to the newly generated world.
Edit: Just remembered that on 1.8 we can now travel twice as fast and so this could end up being an issue.

well sometimes the ocean biombe glitches at a certain distance from spawn and just multiplys into a huge arse half of earth thing what i do is i make the water go away raise the level of ground and wala
