me and a few friends have been trying to play Minecraft together over hamachi for the past few days...but for some reason i am not able to ping one of them and they lag horribly during game play. I have every port forwarded, a static IP for hamachi set up, and ive recently purchased a new CISCO E100 router...so i don't see what the problem could be.... not to mention my internet is 8/mbs...

my idea would be that i am the only one using XP, everyone else has windows 7 or vista...

EVGA GTS 450
4gig of ram
I run minecraft perfectly, and using a minecraft server running capabilities test, i was told i can handle up to 24 people in my server...

The problem is not with you, since only one of the other users is having problems, the problem is with that user. Some people suffer from some bug which causes them to lag horribly and I am not sure that anyone knows why. You may want to ask them to try connecting to some other servers and see how they do with other servers.
