HELP! :(

This has happened before on my other desktop computer and I resolved that the problem was unfixable. I got home today and I went to play Minecraft and that popped up. Then, when I click login, it says this:
New Update Avaliable
Would you like to update?
YES NOT NOW
The yes and not now were the two options. When you click yes it gives you this error:
Failed To Launch
Fatal Error Occured (4): Permission Denied: Connect
Many people suggested to try redownloading Minecraft or force updating or redownloading java. None helped. I checked the files and all of them seemed to be there. I do not use any texture packs or mods
