I need to install a world specific resource pack but I dont know how. im asking
1. How to install a resource pack for a world and
2. Will LAN transmit the pack?

Make a ZIP of the pack, name it "resources.zip," and put it in the world's folder.
I've never actually tried that, but it should work in 1.8. I don't know if it works over LAN.
