I was using my computer, and I turned it off because it was lagging. Then, when I turned it back on, it said Missing Operating System on a black screen. I have an ASUS Computer. Can someone please help me?

You do know that this gets your server down to a bad reputation... You also make more enemies doing this, shows how much of a noob you are, and also shows that you don't know a legit way of advertising your server.
This can be caused by alot of things. the main thing is the boot files/hard drive is corrupted from a virus. There is alot of trojans to program a computer to do this. this also can be caused because it overheated and corrupted the hard drive. Boot from the CD and reinstall windows. what microsoft windows was you running?
I think it's either Windows 8 or Windows 9. My mom is looking for the CD, but can't find it. No offense to the other people, but that's probably the most obvious advice. Thanks.

Did you open a file you got that "Removes lag"? Because a while ago someone found a file that "Removed lag" But actually deleted the computer's core files.

Dude do not advertise your server on someones question....
There's a key you can press to get to an OS choosing screen. I think it might be F9 but I could be wrong so don't blame me if something strange happens. So just try repeatedly pressing F9 whilst it is booting up.
Try holding the power button down and than when the screen goes black start it up again and it might fix the issue...
