Noob question, I want to mod, but whenever i place the mod into the minecraft forge, the mods button, mods, or "mods active" never ever shows up. I have been trying for 2 weeks now, so help!!!

go to run and type in %appdata%
then look for .minecraft folder
then then throw your mod zip folders into the mods folder
then look for .minecraft folder

I want to say "if you don't know where the minecraft directory is, you should leave."

You place the mod zip folders into the mods folder that is in the minecraft directory and you place Forge into the minecraft.jar
