Is Judge #1 dead?? [Sky Limit Contest]
Five days, no progress, everyone else is finished judging. Time to replace judge #1 for someone who can get the job done?

Stop rushing the judges. They'll pick a horrible one if they're rushed
the judges are taking too long to judge this contest, though. They can pick in a week not 3 weeks.

I must admit that it's difficult to understand how some judges made their job in 1 or 2 days. I think they also have some difficulty to understand why they tried to do their job as quick as possible..

Judge #1 is Cyprezz, yes. I thank those of you who supported us in being patient, and shame those who have not. SHAME.
He does apologize though for being late. We had some major site issues to fix before his judging could progress; he made sure to set aside today to doing that, though.

I think that Judge #1 is really busy on some things more important
Maybe the designer of the badges hasn't finish his work so they delay the final result to avoid a big mistake

There are two judges in the Monster in The Closet skin contest who have nothing done yet.
And someone simply having a life does not mean they can get little bits done in their free time. These guys have 0%. As the guy with the bunny avatar who's name I have forgotten said, if they can't do what's expected them, why are they being allowed to judge?

Just wait, half of these people have children and Jobs and use PMC as a pass time. It will be finished when it's finished.

This just reiterates what I already said. If you can't devote yourself to the task you signed up for, don't sign up. Leave it to someone who DOES have the time.
We don't know that Judge #1 is on holiday. Maybe something unexpected came up, or something tragic happened that is taking up their time. Just wait it out.
People do have these things called "lives". I'm not fully familliar with the concept myself, but apparently they're more important than PMC judging and take up lots of time in the "irl" (Anyone know what that is? I assume it's some form of Matrix, or maybe a flash game?).
I don't know Ani, all I know is that they are SUPER expensive and require work.

But I don't understand why someone would sign up for something (or be ALLOWED to sign up) when they know they aren't going to be around to do what's needed of them. Unless he just packed up overnight at random and then tripped and fell into a plane, he knew when he would be away.
It seems like common sense to me that when the mods are screening for judges- an important question to ask would be "Will you be able to fulfill your obligations in a timely manner?" if the answer is "No, I'll be on vacation." then he should sit this one out.

I agree , the least that the judge could have done is to had warned people that he is going on vacation, so they can replace him.

Well he's somewhere other than here, that's for sure. I think maybe the mods should take things like this into consideration before 'hiring' their judges. If they're not going to be around at judging time, or are too busy to get the job done, then someone better suited to the task should get the job instead.
If he is vacationing who cares? Its his job but hes taking a holiday from it. People have lives you know.
