You also lose EXP when you disable a submission.
If you don't have a PM from a moderator and you didn't delete your own submissions you might want to check your 'My Account' page and see if any of your submissions are in 'draft' mode.

Either you deleted your submission(s), or your submissions were deleted by a Site Moderator. Once a submission is deleted, all the XP gained from it is gone as well.
