Yea, exactly, that is it!
It loads just a little then it shows a quick java error form and closes or just turns the screen black or white and keeps it there.
Usually its a mod that wasn't installed correctly. What you should do is download modloader and download your mods, textures, and such through there. Makes life easier. =D
But when mods aren't installed correctly, it needs to get errors at the intro screen, with the 'Mojang' thingy right? I can load minecraft properly, only i can't join server and play SP maps because of that error.
