Mod difficulties

I can't make mods work. I have followed all the instructions on tutorials and deleted META-INF. Can anybody help me?

It depends on the mods you are trying to install, there might be some incompatibility between mods or you're trying to use mods that aren't updated. Sometimes it evens helps just to try install them on a fresh install of MC.
