Have you a 64 Bit OS and 64 Bit Java. Without 64 Bit Java you can only allocate Minecraft 1,5 GB RAM.
Okay when I do this it tells me Unable to access jarfile and java virtual machine launcher says this, it tells me this when I try to run minecraft with this entered, I found out where it's located and I type cmd in the run bar thing but tells me the unable to access jarfile.
Right click Minecraft.exe and click open file location.
How do I find the location of my minecraft.exe?
Well, I tried another method and it worked for me.
Create a .txt file using word pad.
Type in-
javaw -Xmx8192m -Xms4096m -jar "The Location of your minecraft.exe"
Change it from a .exe to a .bat file.
Run the file, It will launch minecraft.
Done.

Ok first I go to the control panel and then open java, next I go to the java tab and click view, then there is a row and I type in the runtime parameters section -Xmx2048M and once I do that I click ok then I click apply.
Have you done what you were supposed to do correctly? List the steps you completed so I can review them.
