Today I wastrying to install a mod, the Premium Wood Mod. Since I am more of a builder than anything, I had installed TMI, ModLoader, SPC and Treecapitator. When I tried to install ScotTools API and Prem. Wood, it said that I was using Minecraft or another program that was using the files. All I was running was Youtube on Internet Explorer, the .jar folder and the two .zip folders, plus My Documents and bin. Anyone know who to fix it? I forced update and it's still the same, but now I have no mods. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the advice, but I finally found a solution. I think it was because at times I had forgotton to close Minecraft, so I opened the .jar file with minecraft still open, and when I restarted my computer it worked again. Thanks again., though ^^
Close everything you don't need. That's happened to me a couple times, but I just did that and everything worked just fine. If you already tried that, I have no clue what to do. Could it be your computer?
