Need help D=

so. just starting today i have had problems. I making a server to corrospond with my youtube channel. and need a static ip. on every tutorial i have neededed the Local area Connection adapter to do so. i have always had it. but today, it just doesnt appear under change adapter settings. both microsoft and xbox tech support could not fix the problem. please help? i have already tried updating the drivers. but the lan driver simply does not exist. and all the other network drivers are up to date. please help! without this i also cannot connect to any minecraft servers! it says no login servers!
