I Need Help With Pex and Some Plugins
Hello I own a server and I have multiverse core and Multiverse portals but non op players cant go through the portal I have all the perms for Multiverse I think. That is my first problem. My second problem is that players on my server cant do /spawn. My final problem is people on my server that are not op cant join Survival games arenas when they right click on signs.

For multi-verse permissions. Then just incorperate them in.
Also make sure that you PermissionsEX file is correctly spaced

I am a server owner and. I use Pex and I reakon it's much easier to use.
Yeah you'll need to go into the config and under the rank u want it type
- essentials.spawn
For them to access spawn
Otherwise if that doesn't work, give ur self full permissions or op and type /Pex
It will come up with like 40 lines of info and commands u can use.
Use the page up button to go up and then u can set perms in game and put people in different groups, or give certain groups perms and everything.

then download notepad++
and there after you put the plugins in your server and start it, go to the groupmanager folder, then to worlds, then to world, then open the file user with notepad+=
and you can configure it from there!

I use Pex (PermissionsEx). It is very simple to use. Group manager however is almost the exact same. All of the permission systems stated use SuperPerms. Which means they use permission Nodes.

Third problem
I have never used survival games on my server. However make sure it is updated. If all permissions are setup correctly survival games should work.

tried essentials.spawn that didn't work and the other ones i tried it still doesn't work may i send one of you my pex file then maybe you can enter it because i am a complete noob

/pex group default add essentials.spawn
For the other ones, look at the bukkit dev page for it, it should tell you the permissions.
( type the same thing as above but replace essentials.spawn with whatever it tells you to)

I will help, I use pex. I used to own my own server and I started out with GM then I switched to pex and found out it was a lot easier......for me at least. Sorry for any mistakes this was typed on my iPad.

Essentials - Groupmanager. I personally dont like PEX because its too complicated for me, it has like 20+ commands -_- GM is easy and comfortable. You can do everything in game too. Example, making and setting up a group: /mangadd (group name) - Makes a group. /mangaddv (group name) (suffix/prefix) (make a suffix/prefix) - Makes a suffix/prefix for the group. /mangaddp (permission.node) - Adds a permission node to a group. /mangdelp - Deleted a permission node. /manuadd (player) (group) - Promotes/demotes a player to the desired group. So yea, deleting the group would be /mangdel (group). GM is easy, like I said.

I agree, groupmanager is much simpler. I have a PEX perms file available for download on my page if you want it.

Problem 1. Try giving them the permission multiverse.access.* or multiverse.portal.acces* I cant remember the exact permission for it. 2. Permission: essentials.spawn 3. I dont know.
for people to type /spawn you need to give them
"essentials.spawn"
Also, there is no perm for survivala games or multiverse
