oh yh and whats with the 64bit thingy? ive got 64bit but why'd would i ask for a 64bit version minecraft server, minecraft runs on 32bit so even though ur os system such as mine windows 7 64bit it has two program files! one normal program files and one program files (x86). the (x86) one is your 32bit program files, and while having both you would of have to put java in both program files for mc to work, ( most of the time)

Actually you just set the default path to your java.exe (and/or javaw.exe) to the 64bit version (%programfiles/... NOT %programfiles(x86)/... ) and then minecraft SP/MP will be running in a 64bit java environment. In my experience this makes a massive difference to performance.

to setup a server well do it yourself, go on bukkit get it out in file make it be called craftbukkit.jar and make a txt and have this random txt in it that u need something @echo i dont no. and then make the txt file a .bat and then double click it!
