Piston Bug

Hi all, I been mucking around with some redstone and pistons, making myself a secret door and I have discovered a bug with the pistons. i've noticed this bug has been pointed out by captainsparklez in his 1.7.3 beta update video.

basically one of my powered pistons dosen't work. it does work however if I delete the piston and replace it again. I have provided screen shots in a zip of my problem

I would like to know if there a patch or a mod that could resolve this issue.

my secret base is now exposed and i need my door fixed up pronto
