Since there new sponser vid whenever the sponser vids start when i try to download something the page freezes and ma shockwave player Crashes.

Which ad? We can't really help unless we know which one is breaking your browser. Ads are geo-targeted and change quite often (we don't handle the ads directly).
Try using Add Block, and/or re-installing Flash. Those are my best guesses, and using Chrome as Snwoy suggested.

*edit* if you are using chrome already, you need to reinstall the shockwave flash pulgin. (or something like that, google is your friend)
